1. Service scope
AMDSSH provides monthly rentals of AMD EPYC 7543P dedicated servers. Each server is assigned to a single customer and housed in Tokyo, Japan. The processor, memory, and local NVMe drives are not shared with other customers. AMDSSH is responsible for the hardware and network; customers manage the operating system, business software, and data stored on the server.
Service configurations are based on the models, optional extras, and confirmed order shown on the configuration page. Both models use an AMD EPYC 7543P 32-core, 64-thread processor, with either 128GB or 256GB of DDR4-3200 ECC memory. Configuration and delivery details for each order are available in the control panel. Availability is based on the information returned there in real time.
These terms apply to service orders, payment, use after delivery, and issue handling. “No long-term contract” means there is no fixed long-term commitment; it does not remove payment obligations for confirmed orders, account security responsibilities, or responsibilities under these terms.
2. Accounts
After registering an account, customers can use the control panel to view orders, servers, paid invoices, and support tickets. Email addresses and account details provided during registration and use must be accurate, and the registered email address must be able to receive account-related notifications.
Customers are responsible for activity on their accounts and for keeping credentials secure. Account passwords, email verification codes, and server login credentials must be stored securely. They must not be published or included in public code repositories, web pages, or unprotected shared documents. For team use, authorized users and their access levels should be defined internally.
If unusual account activity, exposed credentials, or unauthorized access is detected, the affected credentials should be changed promptly and the issue reported through a control panel ticket. If account access is unavailable, the account-associated email address can be used to contact support@amdssh.com. Relevant order details may be included, but passwords and verification codes must not be sent.
3. Orders & payment
On the configuration page, customers select a memory tier, additional drives, bandwidth, extra IPv4 addresses, an operating system, and a billing period. All selections and the amount due for the current period should be checked before checkout. Configurations should match the intended workload. Before confirming an order, pay particular attention to the memory tier, Windows edition, and system language.
All charges are settled in US dollars (USD). Payment methods are those listed on the configuration page before payment is confirmed. Payment status, order records, and server status are determined by the actual information shown in the control panel; closing a browser page or completing a single redirect does not by itself confirm payment.
If payment or order status is unclear, submit the order details and any payment-related messages through a control panel ticket. Submitted materials must not include full payment credentials, account passwords, or other sensitive information. To order, visit the dedicated server configuration page.
4. Billing
Four billing periods are available: monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual, covering 1, 3, 6, and 12 months respectively. None of these periods includes a discount. There is no setup fee or long-term contract, and service starts with monthly billing. Amount due = monthly total × number of months.
The monthly total consists of the model's monthly price and selected add-ons, including additional drives, bandwidth upgrades, extra IPv4 addresses, and Windows Server licensing. Free operating systems do not incur an operating system license charge. Standard included items are not charged again as optional extras. The full amount shown before payment confirmation is the amount due for the order.
Choosing a longer billing period does not change the monthly price or provide a billing-period discount. When reviewing an invoice, check the monthly total, number of months in the billing period, and amount due for the current period separately to avoid mistaking the full-period charge for a monthly fee. Billing questions can be submitted through a control panel ticket.
5. Hardware
Servers are available with 128GB or 256GB of memory. Memory cannot be upgraded on an existing server after provisioning; changing tiers requires ordering another server. Customers should plan memory requirements before ordering and allow for resources used by the operating system, cache, and any virtual machines or applications deployed.
Standard storage consists of 2×1TB NVMe drives, each directly connected, with no hardware RAID. The two drives are not configured as a RAID-1 mirror. Customers can add 0 to 2 additional 2TB NVMe SSDs. Added drives are also directly connected and are not part of a hardware array.
Customers are responsible for data redundancy and backups. Software RAID, ZFS mirroring, or Windows Storage Spaces mirroring must be configured within the operating system. Disk mirroring is not a substitute for independent backups. Backup locations, recovery checks, and application-consistency testing should be planned according to the importance of the data.
Standard networking includes 250 Mbps bandwidth with unlimited traffic. 1 Gbps or 2 Gbps bandwidth options are also available, both with unlimited traffic. One dedicated IPv4 address is included, with up to 255 additional addresses available. AMDSSH handles hardware and network issues; customers are responsible for system configuration, operational errors, and backup arrangements.
6. Operating systems
The configuration page offers 14 free operating systems: AlmaLinux 8, 9, 10; CentOS Stream 9, 10; Debian 11, 12, 13; Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS, 26.04 LTS; FreeBSD 13; and Proxmox VE 8, 9. Select an operating system based on application compatibility and management requirements.
Windows Server Standard and Datacenter licenses are available for versions 2019, 2022, and 2025. Licensing is billed monthly and included in the order invoice. The available system languages are English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese; the selection confirmed at checkout applies.
Customers are responsible for the lawful use and licensing of installed applications, databases, and other software. Operating system delivery does not mean that business software has been installed, migrated, or secured. Application permissions, access rules, system updates, and business data backups are managed by the customer.
7. Access
After payment and delivery, connection details, account name, and initial password are available in the server details in the control panel. Linux, FreeBSD, and Proxmox VE use SSH; Windows Server uses RDP. Use the actual details listed in the control panel, as no account name or port is assumed.
Customers are responsible for changing the initial password after the first login and configuring keys, access permissions, and firewall rules as needed. Before changing network or access rules, keep a record of the existing configuration and check whether the rules could affect current management connections.
For servers with multiple IPv4 addresses, SSH and RDP both use the first address in the control panel's address list. Customers are responsible for configuring the remaining addresses in the operating system, assigning them to virtual machines, and binding them to applications. For connection issues, record the access method and error message, then report the issue through a support ticket.
8. Support tickets
Technical and billing questions should be submitted through a control panel ticket after signing in. Additional information and updates should be kept in the same ticket. Server issue reports should identify the relevant order or server, describe the symptoms, list steps already taken, and include any relevant error text.
For connection issues, specify whether SSH or RDP was used, whether the first IPv4 address was used, and whether system or network settings have changed. Billing questions should identify the order and the items to review. Remove passwords, verification codes, business keys, and unrelated personal information from logs and screenshots before submitting them.
If account access is unavailable or email contact is needed, use support@amdssh.com. Email and support tickets are for matters related to existing services. Progress updates are provided through the relevant communication record.
9. Acceptable use
The service must not be used to send spam, launch network attacks, conduct unauthorized scans, or host illegal content. Customers are responsible for their deployed services, uploaded content, access permissions, and the actions of authorized users. Servers must be protected against such activity resulting from exposed credentials or insecure configuration.
If abuse is detected, AMDSSH may suspend the affected server or IP address and notify the customer through a support ticket. Customers must help investigate the issue, including the cause of a compromise or misconfiguration, and complete any necessary remediation. Details and records of the response will be communicated through the ticket; single-customer server use does not exempt a service from these acceptable-use requirements.
AMDSSH is responsible for hardware and networking; customers are responsible for systems and data, including backups. Incidents involving force majeure or customer actions are handled based on the actual cause, scope of impact, and relevant records. Customers remain responsible for arranging data redundancy, recovery preparedness, and application-level safeguards.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is established. Service disputes should first be discussed through a support ticket. If they cannot be resolved through communication, they will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction. Updates to these terms will be published on this page. The current terms should be reviewed when ordering or using the service.
